It had been raining in the morning, but the rain cleared and the temperature soared to over 60 degrees. It was still cloudy and damp with some leftover fog, but it was great weather for early June! I parked at the Trailhead on Central Highway, and took the Long Path east along the ridge. Upon reaching the Little Tor Trailhead, I turned south and took the trail to the scenic pond. I turned around and then went up Little Tor to the summit, where there is a view of Haverstraw and the surrounding area. I then turned around and took the short spur above the powerline to the other view near the end of the trail near my car.
