Still continuing with my flat hikes, this one featured that one was a bit longer than the past few weeks, and combined several areas along the Hudson River including Denning's Point which is part of Hudson Highlands State Park. I parked at the Madame Brett Park parking area, across from the abandoned factories. We walked upstream from the parking area along the Fishkill Creek, which was flowing very strongly, and the waterfalls below the dam were very strong. 

We then walked back down, past the car again, and then took the wooden bridge along the White Trail. We then took the short spur at the Red Trail which goes along the Hudson River Tidal Marsh. We then continued back on the White Trail, alongside the solar panel farm, and then took the bridge across the railroad to Denning's Point.

At Denning's Point we took the Denning's Point Trail south down the peninsula to the end. We then continued along the peninsula loop back up, and noticed the return route lacked trail markers. Turns out when we got to the end of the trail at the completion of the loop that there was a sign that it was closed. Not sure why it was closed. 

We then took the Klara Saur Trail north towards Beacon, and after a small dock we turned around, and then took abandoned railroad back across the other railroad bridge and back to the White Trail, which we took back to our car.
