Wyanokie High Point is one of my favorite hikes in New Jersey. It's a good climb with a good scramble, and has an excellent 360 degree panoramic view on the top. We parked at the New Weis Center parking area on Snake Den Road. We took the Otter Hole Trail up past the Highlands Pool, and then someone on the trail pointed out that there were signs that the trail was closed and was rerouted to the road. I don't know why they would route this trail on the road, so anyone with additional info please share your comments below.
From the Otter Hole Trail we took the combined Mine and Wyanokie Trail, and then took the Mine Trail Wyanokie Circular Trail steeply up the mountain to the rocky scramble at the top. We then walked along the ridge and then climbed down the Hewitt-Butler Trail, back to the Snake Down which which we walked down to our car.
